The line “I wanna be proud of where I’m from, but you’re making it hard, America” leads the listener into the chorus in Tyler Shamy’s new track “America” featuring JACO. The track touches upon racism, division, and police brutality in which Shamy appeals to see a change in the status quo.
Shamy on the track: “I can’t say I‘ve felt as much pride country lately, but I do have hope for it. There’s nothing more patriotic than wanting your country to get better, right?”.
