Free Arlo, or as he is known to his friends, Chance, has been developing his craft since he could remember. Whether it was performing on stage or experimenting with his 90’s influenced music, it was clear Chance was meant to be a musician. The upbeat lyricism that Chance is known for is from one of his biggest influences, John Mayer, who we can all agree is the king of lyricism. It’s time to pull back the curtain and get to know the L.A based artist as his latest track, iTalk is out now.

With yourself being a Californian and your Instagram gives off those vibes – what would you say is the best part of your state?

I would say the weather, I guess, beach culture. Living in LA, and having the music scene that it does helps with collaborations and networking.

What are you binge-watching right now?

At this point, I’ve watched every mainstream show on Netflix and have resorted to binge-watching nature documentaries… low key getting super into them lol

Let’s talk about your hair for a second – how do you style it so well? (I’m so jealous)

SECRET FORMULA: one part bed-head, one part volume powder with a good blow dry post-shower (add pomade for the occasional fly hair)

Have you found social media to be a better way to connect to your fans than ever before?

It’s actually the only way I’ve connected with fans so far…so yes, BUT I’m excited to connect with fans at shows and make new ones in person.

Finally, when we’re out of this pandemic – what are you most looking forward to doing?

As far as music goes, definitely playing my first live show… as far as leisure goes, I have the urge to stand in a large crowd just because – maybe have a beer with some friends and giving hugs again.
